Privacy Policy

What We Collect

FTW reads activity data from Apple HealthKit including step count, walking distance, active calories, exercise minutes, and floors climbed. All HealthKit access is read-only — FTW never writes to your health data. When you sign in, we store basic account information from your Apple or Google account (name and email). We also store group memberships, display names, and push notification tokens.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect or access:

• GPS or location data
• Heart rate or heart-related metrics
• Workout history or exercise sessions
• Nutrition, body measurements, or medical records
• Contacts, photos, or other personal files

How We Use Your Data

Your step count is synced to our servers so we can calculate group leaderboards. We use push notifications to let you know about rank changes, cheers, and weekly results. That's it.

Cloud Storage

Your data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We do not serve ads. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your step data is only visible to members of groups you join.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account. You can delete your account directly within the app under Profile > Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing support@apresai.dev. All associated data will be removed within 30 days.

Children

FTW is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
